Xplore collects only the information needed to authenticate you and show your research pipeline data:

• Account information. When you create an account or sign in, we collect your email address, name and profile picture to authenticate your account and personalize your experience.
• Research data. We process project metadata, pipeline run configurations and analysis statuses to display them in the app.
• Photos. If you choose to upload a profile picture, we ask for access to your photo library. We do not access or collect any photo other than the one you select.

2. How we use your information

We use the information we collect only to:

• Authenticate and manage your account securely across sessions.
• Deliver the status and metrics of your sequencing pipelines to your device.
• Maintain and improve the stability and performance of the application.

3. Data sharing and third parties

• We do not sell, rent or monetize your personal data. Your account details and research configurations remain yours.
• We do not track you across third-party apps or websites, and no advertising tracking SDKs are embedded in the app.
• Data is transmitted only over encrypted connections (HTTPS / TLS) to the Xplore platform at xplore.bio.

4. Data security and retention

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information and research data. You can update your profile, change notification settings or delete your account at any time in the app, or ask us to permanently delete your credentials and associated metadata.
